Solid Backing Founded in 1999 as a consortium of a number of Hong Kong's most renowned local banks, Bank Consortium Trust Company Limited (BCT) has since evolved to become one of Hong Kong's key pension and trust service providers. The shareholder group currently comprises eight financial institutions: Asia Financial Group, Chong Hing Bank, Dah Sing Bank, Fubon Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia), Shanghai Commercial Bank, Wing Hang Bank and Wing Lung Bank.
Our shareholder group's aggregate assets and shareholder funds stood at HK$844 billion and HK$85 billion respectively as of 31 December 2009. The shareholder group has a network of more than 300 branches throughout Hong Kong.
With a sturdy financial foundation, reinforced by strong shareholder support, BCT is well positioned to serve the community, which it does with an array of high quality pension products and services. These include a range of dedicated and professional trustee, scheme / fund administration and custodian services for about 700,000 members. As one of Hong Kong's top five MPF trustee, BCT's assets under administration is worth over HK$60 billion.
BCT is very focused on its mission to maximise investment returns for its members. To accomplish this, we takes a "Multi-manager" investment approach to individual constituent funds. BCT blends the investment styles and expertise of world-class investment managers to achieve risk diversification and consistent optimal investment returns.
