What are the means for MPF contributions for a self-employed person?

Self-employed persons may choose to contribute on a monthly or yearly basis. If you choose a yearly basis, you should pay your contributions by the end of each year, i.e. on or before 31 December. If you choose a monthly basis, you should pay your contributions by the end of each month. In addition to reporting your latest income, you can also select whether you would like to contribute on a monthly or yearly basis on the Relevant Income and Contribution Basis Statement.

You may make contributions by cash or cheques at our designated banks, or send cheques by post to BCT’s office. You can also apply to make contributions through direct debit authorization. You may refer to Guide to MPF Contribution Channels to know more about the details.
