What should I do if I need to pay long service payment (LSP) or severance payment (SP) to my employee?

                                                              You are advised to calculate and pay the LSP / SP in accordance with the Employment Ordinance to the employees first, and then apply for offsetting the amount of LSP / SP payment from the accrued MPF benefits derived from your contributions made to these employees. The amount offset from your employee’s account in any case should not be more than the amount of LSP / SP paid to the employee.
